1959 – Plainville. This is the oldest known color photo of Ed in a racing car.
As the starter lines them up before the feature, Ed’s car can be seen on the far left.
Riverside Park. The 61 is the leading car here.
1959 – Eastern States Exposition, Springfield Fairgrounds. This car was metallic blue with gold lettering. It was owned by Ed’s wife Christine.

1960 – This is the former #61 after Ed and Christine had sold it to Ralph Boehm.
1961 – Eastern States Exhibition Grounds. This is another view of the #61 (built and raced by Ed in 1959) after Ralph Boehm had bought it from Ed and renumbered it as #101. Johnny Lobo is in the #760.
