Fort Dix. The 21 coupe was built by Norm Kies. It was originally numbered “121”, nicknamed the “Red Ram”, and driven for Norm by Denny Zimmerman. In early 1962 Ed bought the car from Norm, changed the engine from Norm’s favored Mopar to a Chevy, re-numbered it “21”, and raced it very successfully in 1962 and ’63.
